GECKO® Resolves Audio Issues at Wan Ming Methodist Church
3 Aug 2014: Located in Sibu, Sarawak, the 350 pax seating capacity Wan Ming Methodist Church 衛理萬民堂 has recently completed its sound system upgrade with GECKO® C.R.I.S.T.A.L.® Audiophile products.
Previously, the octagonal-shaped church faced issues such as unwanted reflections (echoes), dead spots, and muddiness in their PA system's soundscapes. Most musicians, worship leaders, and preachers complained having a hard time hearing themselves on stage even with the presence of stage monitor speakers; while the congregation complained having a hard time understanding the sermons due to muddiness from the sound coming from the front-of house (FOH) and filler loudspeakers installed.
To resolve these issues, the church approached GECKO® Borneo for full technical assessment based on the church's applications and budget.
Having completed the assessment, the GECKO® technical team concluded on the use of GECKO® C.R.I.S.T.A.L.® technology to solve the long-standing issues the church faced.

“With only one pair of loudspeakers, audiophile-quality sound can be heard from any point within the hall – on the stage, below the mezzanine, and even at the car park! Sermons could be heard clearly even at the open-air car park and when the church door is left open!
